Noticias de la reunion extraordinaria - News from the EGM

Dear neighbours

I am pleased to report that as a result of yesterday’s EGM, the four points on the agenda were all approved.  The following was agreed, both by property vote and co-efficient vote.

• An office for Ricardo will be constructed on the ground floor alongside 117 La Giralda.  This will commence as soon as possible.
• A room will also be built for Doctor Antonio and Maribel on the first floor alongside 217 La Giralda.  In the meantime they will visit owner’s in their apartments by appointment.  Ricardo will book appointments.  This service will be for Fase 1 owners only, but we intend to speak to the Doctor to see what, if anything, can be offered to Fase 2 owners and on what basis.
• The Community will not oppose the legal claim made by the Owners Association that the distribution of costs in the central building is unfair
• Finally it was agreed that owners in the central building should install their own heating/air conditioning and water heating.  This needs to be done as quickly as possible so that the exhorbitantly expensive refrigeration tower can be closed and and we can cease our contract with Cepsa whose bills we cannot afford.

I stress that this is not just because we cannot afford the existing system but it is also because we don’t want the existing system.

Es un placer comunicarles que como resultado de la Junta Extraordinaria de ayer, los cuatro puntos de la agenda fueron aprobados. Fue aprobado lo siguiente, tanto por coeficiente de voto como por mano alzada, en doble mayoría:

1.     Se construirá una oficina para Ricardo en la planta baja del edificio central al lado de Giralda 117. Se hará lo más rápido que se pueda.

2.     También se construirá una consulta para el Dr Lara y Maribel en la planta 2 de La Giralda, al lado de Giralda 217. Entre tanto el doctor hará visitas a domicilio previa cita. Ricardo cogerá las citas. Este servicio será exclusivamente para los propietarios de Fase 1, pero vamos a hablar con el Dr Lara para ver que se les puede ofrecer a los propietarios de Fase 2 y bajo qué condiciones.

3.     La Comunidad no se opondrá a la denuncia hecha por la Asociación de Propietarios sobre el injusto reparto de los costes de los suministros en el edificio central.

4.     Finalmente se acordó que los propietarios del Edificio Central deben instalarse sus propios calentadores y unidades de climatización en sus viviendas. Debe ser llevado a cabo con urgencia para así poder ahorrarnos el coste tan exorbitante de la torre de refrigeración y cesar nuestro contrato con Cepsa, que no podemos mantener.

Y hago hincapié en este último punto no solo porque no podemos mantener el sistema existente, es que no queremos el sistema existente.
