As you probably know, the “blowers” in your apartments are set to cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter. But did you know that when you turn the unit on, you are simply running the fan? Hot or cold water (cold in summer, hot in winter) is taken to your property; when you switch on the fan, this water heats/cools the air moved by the fan into your property. The cost of heating/cooling the water and of pumping it around the building is included in your community charge. The individual cost to your own energy consumption is only that of running the fan.

Cuando usted pone en marcha el ventilador, esta agua hace que el aire que mueve el ventilador se enfríe o caliente. El coste de calentar/enfriar el agua y el de enviarlo a la puerta de su vivienda está incluido en su cuota de comunidad. Lo único que usted paga de forma individual es el coste de encender el ventilador.
